As we look toward the future with increased optimism, the FIU Office of Education Abroad resumed in- person study abroad programming in Fall 2022.  FIU Covid updates, including travel policies for students and faculty can be viewed here.

Our host institution in India, PHRII, requires that everyone has completed the Covid Vaccine series. A copy of your Covid Vaccine certificate will be required for submission in February.

Please note that the GHSA program will not take place if Covid related conditions continue to remain unsafe for international travel or within India. Both the GHSA leadership team and Florida International University always err on the side of caution. In 2020 the program was cancelled less than eight weeks before our departure date. All student payments were refunded.
